Installation

You can either download the theme from the Whttp://wordpress.org/themes/i-transform or install it through Appearance > Themes in your WordPress admin.


Activation

Login as an Admin User via /wp-admin.
Go to your Dashboard > Appearance > Themes . Click on the i-transform Activate link and you are ready to use i-transform.


Starting Up

i-transform looks best with proper image size, to regenerate your images, install this plugin and regenerate the thumbnails.

Social Links

  1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options and “social links” tab
  2. enter your links in respective field and the linked icons will appear on the pages
  3. and press the “Save Options” button

Phone

  1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options and “basic settings” tab
  2. enter your phone number in the field labeled “Phone Number”
  3. and press the “Save Options” button

Logo

By default your site title and tag line will be displayed, if you want to use your logo insted follow the steps

  1. Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options and “basic settings” tab
  2. find the field labelled “Site header logo” and select a file from library or upload a jpg, gif or png, recomended size is width 280px and height 72px.
  3. and press the “Save Options” button

Color Scheme

  1. go to Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options and “basic settings” tab
  2. Select any of the color blocks under “Color Scheme”
  3. and press the “Save Options” button

Multi Layer Slider

By default a plain blank header will be shown with optional tagline, which can be added through the theme options > basic setting > Site title/slogan.
To bring the slider in action follow the steps

  1. go to Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options and “Slider” tab
  2. Fill in the slide details, add the images
  3. and press the “Save Options” button

Featured Posts

i-transforms displayed 4 of your sticky posts as featured and the rest of the sticky will behave like normal sticky posts and appear on front page

to make a post sticky go to add/edit post, find the option “visibility” above “update/publish” button

select “public” and check the “Stick this post to the front page” option


Add Readmore to your post

If you only want to show some text and image instead of the full post in your blog, then you can use the more tag.

  1. go to Dashboard > Posts/Pages > Add new or edit panel
  2. Click on any place on the post editor where you want to insert the more tag.
  3. Then click on the Insert More tag button situated on the top of post editor or use the shortcut ALT+SHIFT+T

  4. Update/Publish the post/page
