How to make slogan to appear on the header banner next to logo?

I see an option “Banner Text - if you are using a logo and want your site title or slogan to appear on the header banner” but it doesn’t works.
I’ve successfully uploaded logo image and it was published on website, but the slogan I entered somehow doesn’t appear next to logo.

Knowing that the logo size should be width 280px, height 72px max, I’ve uploaded the logo even smaller in size. But slogan do not appear on the header banner even in this case.

Any ideas how to make slogan to appear on the header banner next to logo?

I am also planning similar idea for my business site brand logo. I would also love to create unique taglines to be use along with the brand name. I am considering this one http://eatmywords.com/services/taglines/, is anyone tried this already?
