A new version of i-spirit has been released with the release of WordPress version 4.6. New version includes many major upgrades including a default theme slider and a new header type. i-spirit already had all the features and flexibility one would want from their website.
One of the major request from i-spirit users was video tutorials, and we tried to cover all the aspects of WordPress website setup in our video tutorials. Now we have videos that covers installation and setup of i-spirit and the prepackaged plugins. We also have created videos to help our users translate the theme in their own language and create a multilingual website with language switcher menu.
Most of our users are first time WordPress users, We also have many hardcore web developers using i-spirit for their projects. Users who already had experience with WordPress could find their way easily as all the settings and controls are self explanatory. The support request we received mostly were from new users and we tried to cover most of them through these video tutorials.
I-spirit comes with full version of premium WordPress plugin “Slider Revolution” and “Visual Composer”, which are #1 commercial drag and drop slider and page builders in the market today. Many of our first time users had difficulties building their sliders with Slider Revolution because of the numerous tools and settings it had so we had to come up with a default theme slider that would look professional yet with minimum settings. Now a new user can add/edit the image/contents of the slides in theme options and move on.
I just installed the new version and now there’s a huge space above the header, how can I go back to the previous version?
That space is because your browser having the old stylesheets in cache. Clean your browser cache, that gap should be gone.
Hi Marsian,
Was a mobile menu of i-spirit updated in the same way as i-excel?
Thank you.
I had the same problem. Very annoying.
